One of you creates your nest and taps "Invite my penguin" — the app shows a 6-digit code. The other signs in, chooses "I have a code," and types it in. That's it: you're bound into one shared nest. It doesn't matter how either of you signed in, or whether one of you is on an iPhone and the other on Android — the code is what links you.

Codes are single-use and expire after about 15 minutes, so if yours has gone stale, just generate a fresh one. And a nest holds exactly two people — if a code says the nest is full, your partner is already inside waiting for you.

No — one subscription covers both of you. It's $29.99/year (or $3.99/month) for the whole nest, never per person. Whichever of you subscribes, the entire nest unlocks for both partners.

Subscriptions are managed by the store you bought from, so you can view, change, or cancel yours anytime in your Apple account's subscription settings or on your Google Play subscriptions page. One subscription covers both of you — you should never need to buy a second one, and if you already have, email us and we'll sort it out.

Never. If your subscription ends, your nest simply goes into read-only mode: every pebble, photo, letter, and moment stays right where it is, viewable forever. You just can't add new ones until you re-subscribe.

Your memories are always yours — even if you cancel. We built the app around that promise, and the penguin takes it very seriously.

In the app, go to Settings → delete our nest. Either partner can start it; you'll both confirm, and after a short grace period (in case of second thoughts) everything is permanently erased — pebbles, photos, letters, all of it. Before it goes, we'll offer you an export of your story.
